If you are scared and alone today, and you've been searching for God but can't seem to make the connection; you can say a simple prayer to Him. Something like this is all you need:
"Jesus, I know that I need your help. Please come into my life. I want to make you Lord. I know that I have done wrong or sinned and I can't change that. But I know you died on the cross for my sins and I believe that you paid the price for them once and for all. Please save me now, Lord, and give me the gift of eternal life in you. Thank you for hearing my prayer, and thank you for saving me."
The prayer offered up by a sincere heart will always be heard by the Lord. The Bible promises that God has heard you and that your life is now safe in His hands.
